In GuangZhou subway two cosplay young girls were so generous to let me take their picture. They were so devoted in the characters they played and impressed me immensely.
It reminded me what the great litterateur Oscar Wilde had written:
“Most people are other people; their thought are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passion a quotation.”
Those two young girls are not alone on this lonely planet. Eventually we are all in some how cosplaying someone else. They might be our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, relatives, friends, teachers, even strangers, anything we had ever seen, and/or a piece a memory we still remember or had forgotten…
Life goes on in its way. Let’s continue to play hard.
