The device was new, but essentially, it was an implant with an external component that could be worn like a hearing aid\u2026would need a surgical procedure that connected the inner part of the device to the cochlear nerve, allowing the outer part of the device to pick up sounds\u2026Basically, a cochlear implant would bypass the ear entirely, and send sound frequencies straight to\u2026brain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\uff0c\u5728\u7576\u6642\u9019\u7b97\u662f\u65b0\u7684\u6280\u8853\uff0c\u900f\u904e\u5728\u8033\u5f8c\u690d\u5165\u5916\u90e8\u5143\u4ef6\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u52a9\u807d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u7684\u690d\u5165\uff0c\u662f\u4e0d\u9700\u4f4f\u9662(out patient)\u7684\u7c21\u55ae\u624b\u8853\uff0c\u5728\u8033\u5f8c\u5207\u958b\u7f6e\u5165\u5167\u88dd\u7f6e\uff0c\u96fb\u6975\u76f4\u63a5\u9023\u63a5\u5230\u8033\u8778\u7684\u807d\u89ba\u795e\u7d93\u4e0a\uff0c\u6355\u6349\u8072\u97f3\u5247\u9760\u53e6\u5916\u4e00\u500b\u5916\u639b\u7684\u88dd\u7f6e\u3002\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u7684\u539f\u7406\uff0c\u57fa\u672c\u4e0a\u662f\u8df3\u904e\u8033\u6736\uff0c\u628a\u8072\u97f3\u8f49\u8b8a\u70ba\u96fb\u5b50\u8108\u885d\u76f4\u63a5\u9001\u5230\u807d\u89ba\u795e\u7d93\u4e0a\u9762\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It wouldn\u2019t work exactly like a functioning ear. Cochlear implants are far more limited in the number of frequencies that can be picked up and transmitted to the brain. But it would certainly allow for much more sound than\u2026the hearing aids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u7684\u904b\u4f5c\u65b9\u5f0f\u548c\u8033\u6735\u4e0d\u540c\u3002\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u53ef\u4ee5\u807d\u5230\u7684\u983b\u7387\u6709\u9650\uff0c\u4f46\u5b83\u7d55\u5c0d\u6bd4\u52a9\u807d\u5668\u9084\u53ef\u4ee5\u807d\u5230\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u8072\u97f3\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2026\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abigail \u56e0\u70ba\u59ca\u59caRachel\u6709\u524d\u4f8b\u53ef\u5faa\uff0c\u8b93\u5979\u5c11\u4e86\u4e0d\u5c11\u7684\u9ebb\u7169\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u7136\u800c\uff0c\u6bcf\u500b\u4eba\u5c0d\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u7684\u9069\u61c9\u7a0b\u5ea6\u548c\u53ef\u4ee5\u767c\u63ee\u5c80\u4f86\u7684\u6548\u679c\u90fd\u4e0d\u540c\u3002\u5c0d\u4ed6\u7684\u59ca\u59caRachel\u800c\u8a00\u5f88\u5bb9\u6613\uff0c\u4f46\u662fAbigail\u5728\u5c0f\u6642\u5019\u5c31\u975e\u5e38\u6392\u65a5\uff0c\u5e38\u5e38\u4e0d\u81ea\u4e3b\u628a\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u5916\u88dd\u7f6e\u64a5\u4e0b\u4f86\u3002\u5979\u662f\u82b1\u4e86\u5f88\u9577\u5f88\u9577\u7684\u6642\u9593\uff0c\u624d\u6162\u6162\u9069\u61c9\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u53ea\u80fd\u807d\u5230\u4e00\u4e9b\u983b\u7387\uff0cAbigail\u8d77\u521d\u4e5f\u53ea\u6709\u88dd\u4e86\u4e00\u8033\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u8072\u97f3\u4e5f\u6c92\u6709\u666f\u6df1\uff0c\u5979\u7121\u6cd5\u5224\u65b7\u90a3\u4e9b\u8072\u97f3\u7684\u9060\u8fd1\u3002\u5979\u6700\u6015\u4eba\u591a\u8072\u97f3\u5435\u96dc\u7684\u5730\u65b9\uff0c\u9060\u7684\u548c\u8fd1\u7684\u8072\u97f3\u90fd\u6df7\u96dc\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\uff0c\u5c31\u66f4\u96e3\u807d\u5f97\u6e05\u695a\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u6240\u4ee5\u5728\u4e0a\u5b78\u7684\u6642\u5019\uff0c\u5979\u6700\u6015\u662f\u5b78\u751f\u5f88\u591a\u7684\u5927\u6559\u5ba4\uff0c\u6703\u807d\u4e0d\u6e05\u695a\u3002\u800c\u4e14\u5979\u5fc5\u9808\u5750\u5728\u6559\u5ba4\u7684\u524d\u6392\uff0c\u90a3\u6a23\u624d\u80fd\u807d\u5f97\u6bd4\u8f03\u6e05\u695a\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u7531\u65bc\u984f\u9762\u795e\u7d93\u3001\u8996\u795e\u7d93\u548c\u807d\u89ba\u795e\u7d93\u90fd\u5728\u982d\u90e8\u81e8\u8fd1\u7684\u4f4d\u7f6e\uff0c\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u53ea\u5148\u88dd\u4e00\u8033\u662f\u53ef\u4ee5\u7406\u89e3\u7684\u3002Abigail\u5f8c\u4f86\u8a66\u8457\u88dd\u4e0a\u53e6\u5916\u4e00\u8033\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u6700\u7d42\u537b\u56e0\u70ba\u5169\u8033\u7121\u6cd5\u5354\u8abf\u800c\u653e\u68c4\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abigail\u56fa\u7136\u4e0d\u5e0c\u671b\u5225\u4eba\u56e0\u7232\u5979\u807d\u969c\u800c\u683c\u5916\u53e6\u773c\u76f8\u5f85\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u5979\u7684\u670b\u53cb\u3001\u540c\u5b78\u4e5f\u5fc5\u9808\u6709\u6240\u7406\u89e3\u624d\u53ef\u4ee5\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u8b6c\u5982\uff0c\u7528\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u662f\u5f88\u8cbb\u6ce8\u610f\u529b\u7684\uff0c\u4e0b\u4e86\u8ab2\u56de\u5230\u5bbf\u820d\u5979\u6703\u628a\u5b83\u5916\u88dd\u7f6e\u62ff\u4e0b\u4f86\ud863\uddb9\u6a5f\u4f11\u606f\u3002\u5982\u679c\u5176\u4ed6\u4eba\u4e0d\u7406\u89e3\uff0c\u6703\u4ee5\u70ba\u5979\u51b7\u6f20\u4e0d\u642d\u7406\u4eba\uff0c\u5176\u5be6\u5979\u5728\u90a3\u500b\u6642\u5019\u662f\u6839\u672c\u807d\u4e0d\u5230\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u5176\u6b21\uff0c\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u7684\u5916\u88dd\u7f6e\u662f\u7528\u96fb\u6c60\u9a45\u52d5\u7684\uff0c\u4e00\u65e6\u6c92\u6709\u96fb\u53c8\u5fd8\u4e86\u5e36\u5099\u7528\u96fb\u6c60\u5c31\u5f88\u9ebb\u7169\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u5176\u4e09\uff0c\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u7684\u5916\u88dd\u7f6e\u4e0d\u9632\u6c34\uff0c\u5982\u679c\u5f9e\u4e8b\u6c34\u4e0a\u6d3b\u52d5\uff0c\u90a3\u9ebc\u5c31\u8981\u52a0\u4e0a\u9632\u6c34\u7684\u5916\u76d2\uff0c\u800c\u9019\u4e5f\u662f\u8981\u4e8b\u5148\u60f3\u5230\u6e96\u5099\u597d\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abigail\u4e00\u76f4\u4e0d\u5e0c\u671b\u5979\u7684\u8eab\u4efd\u88ab\u7528\u300c\u5931\u8070\u5973\u5b69\u300d(a deaf girl)\u4f86\u5b9a\u7fa9\uff0c\u5979\u5728\u4eba\u969b\u95dc\u4fc2\u4e2d\u56e0\u6b64\u65e2\u671f\u5f85\u53c8\u6015\u53d7\u50b7\u5bb3\uff0c\u800c\u8b8a\u5f97\u6c92\u6709\u4ec0\u9ebc\u4fe1\u5fc3\u3002\u5979\u6700\u5f8c\u662f\u6253\u5fc3\ud855\ude83\u81ea\u5df1\u63a5\u53d7\u4e86\u807d\u969c\u662f\u5979\u81ea\u6211\u7684\u4e00\u90e8\u4efd\uff0c\u624d\u91cd\u62fe\u4e86\u4fe1\u5fc3\uff0c\u4e5f\u627e\u5230\u4e86\u771f\u611b\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abigail\u4e00\u8def\u8d70\u4f86\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u8aaa\u975e\u5e38\u4e0d\u5bb9\u6613\uff0c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u8b80\u5f8c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u807d\u969c\u7684\u793e\u7fa4(the community)\uff0c\u5c0d\u65bc\u88dd\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\u6709\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u8072\u97f3\u3002\u5c0d\u4ed6\u5011\u800c\u8a00\uff0c\u807d\u4e0d\u5230\u53ea\u662f\u8ddf\u5225\u4eba\u6709\u9ede\u4e0d\u4e00\u6a23\uff0c\u4f46\u4ed6\u5011\u53ef\u4ee5\u7528\u624b\u8a9e\uff0c\u5728\u793e\u7fa4\u5167\u6e9d\u901a\u4e5f\u4e0d\u6703\u6709\u969c\u7919\u3002\u4ed6\u5011\u8a8d\u70ba\u807d\u969c\u7684\u4eba\u88dd\u4e0a\u4eba\u5de5\u8033\u8778\uff0c\u5fc5\u9808\u56f0\u96e3\u5b78\u7fd2\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u600e\u9ebc\u6a23\u90fd\u4e0d\u5982\u4e00\u822c\u4eba\u7684\u807d\u529b\uff0c\u53cd\u800c\u7a81\u986f\u4e86\u807d\u89ba\u4e0a\u9762\u7684\u969c\u7919\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u6839\u64da\u8cc7\u6599\uff0c90
