The profound meaning of Joan Miro’s work was born of a desire to get to the essence of the human being. For Mir\u00f3, that desire was linked to two principles coming together in concert. On the one hand, the affinity with Catalan land and culture and, on the other, the need to always undergo revision through permanent dialogue with the avant-gardes.
