Having an idea of why we are here and what is important increases our sense of control over events, rendering them less stressful\u2026Simply doing what you love, whether it&#8217;s gardening or voluntary work, might have a similar effect on health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u8eab\u5fc3\u95dc\u4fc2\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u8005\u90fd\u8a8d\u70ba\uff0c\u6700\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u662f\u8981\u4e86\u89e3\u81ea\u5df1\u751f\u547d\u7684\u610f\u7fa9\u3002\u77e5\u9053\u6d3b\u5728\u7576\u4e0b\u7684\u76ee\u7684\u662f\u4ec0\u9ebc\u3001\u4ec0\u9ebc\u5c0d\u6211\u5011\u662f\u771f\u6b63\u91cd\u8981\u7684\uff0c\u90a3\u9ebc\u5c31\u53ef\u4ee5\u589e\u52a0\u6211\u5011\u5c0d\u4e8b\u7269\u7684\u63a7\u5236\u611f\uff0c\u7136\u5f8c\u53ef\u4ee5\u7528\u6700\u8f15\u9b06\u7684\u3001\u58d3\u529b\u6700\u5c0f\u7684\u65b9\u5f0f\u53bb\u9054\u6210\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u53ea\u8981\u52aa\u529b\u53bb\u8ffd\u5c0b\u81ea\u5df1\u559c\u611b\u7684\u4e8b\u7269\uff0c\u4e0d\u7ba1\u662f\u5712\u85dd\u6216\u64d4\u4efb\u5fd7\u5de5\uff0c\u5c0d\u8eab\u5fc3\u7684\u5065\u5eb7\u90fd\u6709\u985e\u4f3c\u6b63\u9762\u7684\u6548\u679c\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another way you can boost your health is to give yourself (rather than your pills) a pep talk. Think positive and tell yourself everything&#8217;s going to be fine. Again, it sounds too good to be true, but realism can be bad for your health. Optimists recover better from medical procedures such as coronary bypass surgery, have healthier immune systems and live longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u6b63\u5411\u601d\u8003\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Put simply, people who have rich social lives and warm, open relationships don&#8217;t get as sick and they live longer. This is partly because people who are lonely often don&#8217;t look after themselves well, but there are direct physiological mechanisms too &#8211; related to, but not identical to, the effects of stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u53bb\u4ea4\u670b\u53cb\u3002(\u4e00\u500b\u4eba\u8d70\u5f97\u5feb\uff0c\u4e00\u7fa4\u4eba\u8d70\u5f97\u9060\u3002\u6211\u5011\u90fd\u4e0d\u5e0c\u671b\u81ea\u5df1\u300c\u8d70\u5f97\u300d\u592a\u5feb\uff0c\u4e0d\u662f\u55ce\uff1f)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trials looking at the effects of mindfulness meditation suggest that it reduces physical symptoms such as pain, anxiety, depression and fatigue. There is also some evidence that meditation boosts the immune response in vaccine recipients and people with cancer, soothes skin conditions and even slows the progression of HIV.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meditation might even slow the ageing process. Telomeres, the protective caps on the ends of chromosomes, get shorter every time a cell divides and so play a role in ageing. In one study, three months of meditation increased levels of an enzyme that builds up telomeres\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u51a5\u60f3\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u51a5\u60f3\u53ef\u4ee5\u6709\u6548\u964d\u4f4e\u75bc\u75db\u3001\u6182\u9b31\u3001\u75b2\u618a\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u51a5\u60f3\u53ef\u4ee5\u589e\u52a0\u514d\u75ab\u529b\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u51a5\u60f3\u53ef\u4ee5\u5ef6\u9577\u58fd\u547d\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most clinical trials involving hypnosis are small, but they suggest that hypnosis may help pain management, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, obesity, asthma and skin conditions such as psoriasis and warts. Hypnotising yourself seems to work just as well. In fact, Whorwell thinks self-hypnosis is the most important part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u81ea\u6211\u50ac\u7720\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even if the link between religion and better health is genuine, there is no need to invoke divine intervention to explain it. Some researchers think the positive emotions associated with spirituality promote beneficial physiological responses. Others attribute it to the placebo effect &#8211; trusting that some deity or other will heal you may be just as effective as belief in a drug or doctor.
